1. If you are counting on other teams to fill your stadium then you are SMU. 2. Wyoming is a very good team and a measuring stick for where we are as a program. They were 9-4 last year! 3. You need to beat upper-level Mid-majors if you want to start establishing a foundation to build on.

I get where you are coming from, but you still have to have a plan. The long-term plan may not always work, but I wouldn't ruin his redshirt, at this point in the season, for a very short-term goal. This is especially true if Nolan and Ruben get back for the tournament.

At this point, you don't ruin Cotton's redshirt.

I think this game comes down to whether or not their press wears us out. Memphis is a long athletic team so breaking the press becomes even more difficult missing our ball-handlers. Second, who wins the rebounding battle?

the DMN gives them 1/2 a page with a big picture. Remember, we got a paragraph two days later after complaining about it!

If this passes, get ready for the 2-year noncompete clause required by colleges.

They got back in the game by pounding the ball down low to their big and scoring or getting fouled. We can't do that. We have essentially no scoring from our big. If shots stop dropping, we're in trouble.

It's a BS response! You don't forget a D1 school right down the road but remember KU, Baylor, Ok St and other schools 100's of miles away! They're so sorry about it, they followed up by not adding the summary they missed in today's paper.

Sunday morning follow-up: There is no mention of our game yesterday on the front page of the sports section. Not even a sentence or a score listing. If you weren't looking for us or didn't know we played. Just like they like it, out of sight out of mind. But hey, Pop Issacs scored 21 to help TT beat UT (Lubbock and Austin). ....just reviewed entire epaper from DMN. There is NO summary or mention of our game yesterday. However, TCU, Tx A&M, UH, Baylor, Kansas St and OU have their summaries.

To be honest, I'm tired of blaming students for our attendance issues. There are 300k plus alumni (w/family even more) in the DFW area! Students should be complaining about not having enough seats available for them not us relying on them to fill an arena!

Good, I guess. If you watched the 6 and missed the 10 then you didn't even know we played!

Perfect example.. Ch 5 (NBC) shows highlights of TCU's loss to KU and doesn't even mention to NT game. Instead, they show a clip about HS athletes choosing to go to Elite BB academies or stay at their HS.

We need a media that provides us attention! Can't be backpage of DMN or a 1 second mention as the last college team (even after out of State teams) on highlights. First you win - check. Second gives us our respect - waiting. Third, it becomes a place to go and be seen and be a part of (think of how the DMN and Ch 8 promoted SMU BB and the crowds that followed under Larry Brown).
