Amen to that Kram1. We all owe so much to the veterans of WWII, and on this day, a special remembrance to veterans of the Allied Forces who took part in this historic day. And a special thanks to a gentleman that I know personally, who lives in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area for his brave participation in the invasion. He was an Army Ranger on that day who scaled the cliffs at Pointe du Hoc. Such bravery. Thank you Cal, and God bless you.

JUCO is callled Lamar State College-Port Arthur. They've only been playing basketball for 3-4 years and played in the JUCO finals this year I believe.

Looking at the north end zone goalpost, with "wing Zone" in the background, I'm amazed at how massive a structure the zone really is. Impressive in person too.

Why not offer all of the "on-site" construction workers from Manhattan Const. and sub-contractors free tickets to the opening day Houston game? This could also include any company that had anything to do with the new Mean Green stadium. Tickets could be in the "wing Zone". You never know. We might just cultivate a new group of Mean Green fans. Just a tought.

Clearly, we would be in a much better conference (CUSA, the old WAC, SWC), possibly been invited to a bowl during one of Hayden's stellar seasons, and we may not have had to drop down to D1AA, better known as football purgatory. Nothing in the Dallas area newspaper promoting this event? No TV coverage? Not even a 1 minute spot during the TV sports segment on the coaches and Mr. Greene? I see the problem as the AD relying on email blitzes only to get the message/ad out to the public. Do they have email addresses for all 90,000 DFW alumni? Doubt it. So, use the other media that's availiable.
