SHSU is almost a conference member for us this year since we play them home and away. I sure would like to win both. I'll need to do some research on them, but I figure this should be a tough road game for us(those old Southland rivals usually are).

It's in Huntsville which is little over 200 miles away towards Houston
And yes, these games won't be easy.

My son and I are going to the game. We live only about an hour away in Kingwood. We are meeting my cousin who was a big booster for Sam from his day as the local Chevy dealer. They beat tech at home last year and lost to them in Lubock last night,

I'm thinking about it; I won't know if I can take the time off until tomorrow. Anyone else from Sugar Land or SW Houston going?
The last time I tried to head north on I-45 was the Friday of Homecoming weekend. I left Sugar Land at 2:15 and didn't get to Huntsville until around 5:00. Needless to say, I didn't make it to Denton in time for the bonfire. I took the Hardy Toll Road, and that was OK, but the traffic on I-45 from the Woodlands through Conroe took forever. It was still a bit slow past Conroe until after Huntsville. Who knows how long it might take during rush hour?

Take the Beltway to 249 which changes to 1173 (I think) in Magnolia. Follow this north to Plantersville and turn east on 105 into Conroe. Then head north on 45.

White and Dennis not a surprise, but McCoy and Hogans are. Odufuwa starting at 5 rather than 4 this time.

McCoy doesn't seem to take advantage of his opportunities... he finally gets the start, and picks up 3 quick fouls... aside from his 1 "perfect game" he seems to have some bad luck when opportunities come his way... we know he is a superior athlete but he just cant seem to put it together on the floor.... I hope that this changes this game.

Yes. We used to be in the same conference as them.
Sam Houston beat Texas Tech last year at home. They had a 45 game OOC win streak, 2nd only to Duke. Not an easy place to win.

As CMJ said, this team hadn't lost to an OOC foe at home since 1998 and has had 20+ win seasons for the last 3 years.
