I am very interested in the MTSU game... MTSU and UNT are probably equally matched and Houston Baptist is a common opponent....

It'll be a hard game to compare, returning starters guard Demetrious Green and center Theryn Hudson won't be playing. Green is completing a 4 game suspension for a team rule infraction and Hudson has an ankle injury.

Wondered about that after reading the box of your game Friday. Hudson when healthy will probably slide right back in...but could Green be fighting for minutes?
CMJ
MTSU taking care of buisness, up 19 with just over 7 minutes to go in the 1st half.
CMJ
MTSU won 80-63.
CMJ
UALR up 5 at halftime....

I suspect Green will start although Calvin O'Neil did play well in his place. O'Neil was a starter in 06-07, who got hurt in the first game last year and ended up redshirting.

BTW, CBL, GoMiddle.com, MT fans' presence on the rivals.com, did a 40 article series on MT & Sun Belt basketball as a part of a 40 day countdown to tip-off. It may be of some interest to you, Below is the last article which has a link to each of the 40 articles at the bottom of the article:

When do you guys play Houston Baptist? I was not really impressed with them, although they hung close in the first half with Marquette (in their first game).

Chris, they were teasing me for my brevity. smile.gif

Pepperdince is usually a pretty competitive WCC school, typically right near the top(Gonzaga has owned the league for a decade). They have a few NCAA tourney appearances. Not a bad win on the road....esopecially when you consider the length of the road trip(having started out in CA a few days earlier).
