According to today's D-RC, guard Shannon Shorter (Paris JC) has signed a letter of intent with UNT.

He's a 6'4" 2-guard.......who played one season at TAMU-Corpus Christi...before going to Paris. He chose NT over Texas State, Detroit and Portland State.

Unless that Detroit was the Pistons he definitely made the right choice.

I don't think Detroit has been relevant since Vitale was there(yes he did coach before ESPN).
