Am I the only one who thinks this may be his breakout year? You sure don't hear alot of information about this guy. He
could be a key ingredient to our success. He could be a glue guy who does a bit of everything. Tell me what you think? GMG

The great thing about this year's roster is that even with the inevitable injuries, Mangrum won't be counted on to play a major role unless he's ready. If he breaks out, it's a great extra asset. And if he still needs more time to get his game back after surgery, he can take the time to do it.

White, Odufuwa, Mangrum, Hogans, and Thompson all have three full years left to play together. That's a fantastic young core to be able to build around.

I really don't know how to tell. He's been out 1 year with injury, and although he contributed for 1 season, it wasn't anything spectacular - just solid - which isn't bad either for a freshman. He grew an inch or two since he played in 2006... He has the potential to turn into another fantastic guard with good size.

Mangrum was there last night, but not in uniform. One of my buddies yelled to him to ask when he'll be back... he hand signaled and we think he meant 1 to 2 weeks... if he hasn't been working out much then this is not a good sign for his return any time soon.
