I grabbed some dinner tonight from Panda Express. (Don't judge me.) Below is the fortune that came from my fortune cookie. Bring it on. GO MEAN GREEN!11 points

I hate to say it but this is coaching. FAU showed up ready to play. UNT acted like it won the Superbowl after beating an average new program. We weren't ready and we damn sure aren't ready to win this conference.5 points

a few timeouts could have been called to slow shit down...no reason to go into the half with all of them, especially on the 4th and goal from the 1 and trying to substitute...4 points

This game is showing that this team, and especially the staff have a lot of room to improve. It hurts when you go from a program defining win one week to a showing this week that will have a lot of people saying nothing has really changed4 points

Frankly, I don't care if we move the ball zero yards on offense. Sack their QB in the end zone and get 2 points to win the game. Just win it.4 points

So, will the officer run routes beside him? Will they play with 10 players plus the officer or will they get a waiver and it will be 12 on 11. These questions must be answered. Kiffin and Briles are such high character. So glad we got SL instead of many that were wanting Lil' Briles.4 points

HA. As I mentioned before, you want butts in seats you deliver consistent, winning product. I hope this is a reawakening for this young team. Bad games happen, and I expected to drop atleast on of one to USM, UTSA orFAU. I'm not disappointed in the loss, but I am in the performance. Still going to root for the team, this isn't a fire-sale moment. This is a big wake up call. Hopefully we pick up the damn phone.3 points

This team is an embarrassment today. This is UNT at its finest. Great win last week followed by completely falling apart. Same ole UNT. I've stopped watching UNT twice. Portland State and now FAU. I'm embarrassed for this team and our university right now and it's the second quarter.3 points

Will this performance have a bigger negative impact than the positive impact of the UTSA win?3 points

Why didn’t our coaches call a time out to have a chance to review and challenge it. That would have stopped the drive and given us the ball back. No way FAU goes for it on 4th and 6 there.3 points

What I was thinking was if Tech drops lower in the conference and we win the championship, we can choose HoD bowl. That could line us up to play Tech. Imagine the storylines. Also, with the alum in Dallas, attendance would be massive.3 points

That is a great prediction Austin, how many strips of eye black do you think Flusche will be wearing when he makes that sack? My guess is 2. Also will mason go to a glove when it starts raining?3 points

I like Rico Bussey. Seems to say little and isnt too excitable. Just makes plays when he gets the chance.3 points

If a message board or social media can derail your team, you have a huge coaching problem. Fans overlooking a team has zero to do with the outcome on the field.3 points

Yeah am I the only one that feels this thing can totally fall off the rails? We’ve had two perfect ball bouncing wins and now we are talking like that team down south with the 11-0 headline. You go right ahead, I think this is a deathmatch to the end of November. I see 2 - 3 possible losses in the next 21 days, I also see opportunities to make these next two months even more fun. I don’t see one side dominant for sure. Fau will play tough at home. We will be fortunate to win in Boca tomorrow. Go MeanGreen!!!!!3 points

Luckily I don't think your team is overlooking us as much as a good number of you on this board are!3 points

Mr. Gottlieb and I have different expectations for "doing the right thing."3 points

Looks like a lot of fun to play offense against this defense.2 points

Bad thing is our coaching staff seems to be sleepwalking as bad as the players2 points

Kiffin is just clowning Litrell right now, smart offense playcalling seeing our guys not hustling off the field and quick snaps.2 points

To me that INT is mostly on the WR, who did not compete for it. But also, the defender shoves off, should have been PI Defnese is just horrible so far.2 points

Just me, or am I seeing quite a bit of uncalled offensive holding so far?2 points

My bold predictions for this week 8 game against FAU: The defense will have 3+ sacks, one of which will come from my son Andy Flusche Mason Fine will throw for 300 yards with 3TDs and 1 INT. Less than 50% chance of rain now. Jeff Wilson will rush for 175 yards with 3 TDs. He’s due for a bounce back game. The defense will have 2 INTs. If we can get ahead and force them to pass, we’ll get 2 Picks. Trevor Moore will hit a 40+ yard FG. I’m gonna guess it will be 44 yards.2 points

Ha! I was about to say the same thing. Just a hypothetical. Hell we are not in the locker room. We are not on the team.2 points

According to his own Twitter, Sid Moore traveled with the team. No reason to travel if he isn't playing, right?2 points

This is a "FAN" board. Why can't we have some fun by looking ahead? It's not like we're playing tomorrow.2 points

Fair enough, FIU or the other F_U as you guys may like saying have a silly fan base. They started their program 1 year after us; have a similar type University and are 40 miles apart and they don't consider us their main rival!! They think University of Miami is!! I am not even sure UM knows that FIU is a 4 year university. But whatever, we are 10-5 all time vs. them and anytime we beat them no matter how the season is going its makes the sky a little brighter. I think FAU and UNT are very similar programs right now; honestly I think we both could meet again in the Championship game, but the fact of the matter is in the back of our mines I think we both aren't sure what kind of teams we really have. I am expecting we will have some bumps in the road, but you know if we win out we host the Championship game. Even if we lose to you and then win out I think we host it. But it is much more fun to watch a win instead of just writing the W in on the schedule.2 points
