I believe the real key is for our backs and WRs to take a knee or go out of bounds at the 21 if they do not think they can score. As long as the plays start outside the 20, we will be fine.

Spud verbally committed to play for Coach Blakeley. Blake was fired and we brought in Tommy Newman. Newman felt that Spud would not fit into his slow ass brand of ball. Spud went on to Juco before signing with Jimmy Valvano and North Carolina State; winning a National Championship.and having lucrative NBA career. Newman was fired after failing to ever get the ball up court.

Does it? It seems that, under the new system, no matter how much we win, it will not be possible for us to participate in one of the big bowls. Under the current structure, the carrot of getting to play in a BCS bowl was there. Now it isn't there. Either way, we have to improve before this is a real issue for us.

I was told once, but have now forgotten, specific numbers. I do remember that they expect to "sell out" club level seats next year. I put that in quotation marks because they will actually hold some of the seats in reserve as guest seats for the club members to buy. However, every seat they want to sell in the club level they expect to have sold by next year. At about ~$7K minimum investment for each seat, that's good news.

I mentioned a few years ago about a skinny freshman named Oberkrom who I witnessed putting on a display of kicking I had never seen before at the HS level for Arlington Martin High School vs Trinity in a playoff game. He's now the skinny freshman kicking for TCU, and he's just as solid for the frogs as he was for Martin. ........ That really is an amazing stat. Out of 7 teams played, only one team has sacked the QB at all. But the QB and receivers need to do more with what the O-line is doing for them.

Yes, Peagram and Terrell both graduated in high school in 2010. They will enter next season as redshirt Juniors. As for their play, Terrell has the size and speed combo that none of our other receivers have. All indications are that our trio of transfers (Berglund, Terrell, and Peagram) have all been giving us very good looks in scout team to say the least. Expect them all to see the field with the possible exception of Berglund for next year at least.

I think both of our wins that got us into the NCAA tournament have to be the biggest wins of UNT's history because they did some big things... if UNT beats Creighton, that's great, but other than a week of publicity it might not get us anywhere... if it at the end of the season if we are in the tourney and got a 12 seed bid or something like that, then I think we view it in a different light, but for right now, I'll say it would just be top 5

The last "road trip in a packed vehicle with a bunch of friends" I took ended up with one divorce, three fist fights, a public indecency charge, a commemorative t-shirt, and a handful of (thankfully uncharged) contributing to the delinquency of a minor's. And we lost the deposit on the rental.... ...I think someone fell off a moving minivan... ... and did you know Red Roof Inn has a "Do Not Rent" list?
