Germaine Dawson was a standout athlete at Rockdale High School excelling in many sports. Eventually he went on to play collegiate football at the University of North Texas. Germaine was recently found shot and killed Lewisvile, Texas. Proceeds will go to funeral cost and help to establish the general scholarship fund for one athlete either male or female of Rockdale High School who shows the same work ethic Germaine showed on and off the field.

We are accepting checks and/or money orders of any monetary value. We ask that you attach your name and address to the check/money order because the credit union is making a list of all who donated which will be given to his grandmother. Please make your check/money order out to the “Germaine Dawson Fund” and mailed it to the following address;

well im sure, but thats not really the important part of why i posted it here it is also going to help pay for his funeral

There had been some mention of setting up a scholarship fund in his name for UNT student-athletes--I was just wondering if that was what this was doing.
